Description
Wall-mounted forged decorative triakodoros in gold color by Nikos Dermitzakis. The triacontorus was a type of ancient Greek galley, used since the Archaic era, but probably similar ships existed earlier, if we take into account the relevant references in the Homeric epics. Forging was the first way people discovered to process metals thousands of years ago. They struck a piece of metal with a hammer on a hard surface (in most recent years the hard surface is a steel anvil), and the metal with the blow became thinner and longer. In this way, the wire and the plate were created, on which the further processing of metals was carried out. The creator Nikos Dermitzakis constructs forged interior decoration decorations with a diverse range of themes that include pair forms, nature, figures, three-dimensional and sea themes. The creator still seeks, through forged handmade creations, his emotion and immediate challenge.
