Stella is a 1955 Greek romantic-dramatic film directed and written by Michael Cacoyannis. It is based on the play by Iakovos Kambanellis “Stella with the red gloves”, while it is inspired dramaturgically by the myth of Carmen. The production belongs to Millas Film and stars Melina Mercouri and Giorgos Fountas.
