The “Summer… Awakening” 2015, consists of four mythical weeks, along with Athena, Demeter, Uranus and Poseidon, whom the children meet through 15 creative activities that include group games, theater, dance, singing, visual arts-constructions, cinema, pantomime, writing, museology, costume design, confectionery, gardening, poetry, comics, lyrics and journalism.
A creative activity that builds the children’s present with knowledge and imagination while cultivating the proper development of social relationships through their experiential experience.

And what could be better than learning to make soap together with new friends, and to talk about the Weaver Spider through her dancing and the construction of a milk, to travel with the Olympic champion Klelia Pantazi and to be informed about school and cyberbullying by the specialized child psychologist Athina Manouka.

How much better can your day go than start with a theatrical game that says “I become a role too, on a mythical journey” and continue with “Red thread solved … but in a tangled spiral” with Jerome Kaluta and Chris¬sto Moustakas from Spira – Spiral sweetly confused with creatures of the earth, which dance the “Dance of the peas” and the lyricist Eleana Vrachali climbing the stage to reveal the secrets of lyrics from “The journey of verse… from the heart straight to the paper” and Giannis Velonakis teaching you gardening by insisting “With my hands I carve and plant and stoli-live…”
How much better can your day end than with Elli Mercouri, leading you down paths of group game and film and pantomime to quickly discover that “Actress means light”! and much more to conclude together “Friday equals yi¬orti… your own play will be played!”

And then again from the beginning the ship of the “Summer Awakening” flying towards the mythical sky, meeting the game “The tetra¬gona of the stars of Michael Cacoyannis” and with dancing and narration of the myth “The mysterious star Uranus”, the journey of knowledge flowing harmoniously and “The gods of Heaven” introducing themselves with grace and the heavenly vinegar taking off with the musical-theatrical performance “Vain the terrible” by Mara Chomatidis in music by Aphrodite Fryda.

Poseidon the “God of the Seas” to meet you for a boat ride in the pentagram of Greece and for an exploration in “Tha¬lassolykos I will become, treasure I will discover” and “With a golden spoon and with a sword look, sweets I will make and you I will treat”, where along with the cupcakes follow magical tips for healthy, clean and good nutrition teeth by Matina Koulatzidou and Akis Dimis¬trakopoulos, for children to smile fearlessly with the funny and incredible stories of George Hadjipavlos. This is followed by Marivita Grammatikaki with her magical musicians and “The giant star” while then the children dive into “Dreams” and the company grows up with the Deaf Theater Group “Crazy Colors” which speaks the language of Sign Language teaching our little friends the language of pantomime. Finally, the children’s painting unites the myths of the “Summer Awakening” on a huge canvas entitled “Myths and if we finished… on a wall we joined them”, thus saying goodbye with a great celebration, a special, original and fresh “Summer Awakening”.

The collection of engravings with the signature of “Michael Cacoyannis”, is the result of systematic work of many people, forms a solid body of about 400 different compositions, a unique material, which records almost completely the journey through the films of Michael Cacoyannis.
