A series of stamps with themes from Greek cinema in its best moments were released in 2013 by the Commemorative Stamp Series of the Hellenic Post. The stamps bear representations from four films that have won awards and distinctions in competitions and festivals, hence the series is called “Greek Award-Winning Cinema”. One of which depicted Irene Pappa and Aleka Katseli in “Electra” (1962) by Michael Cacoyannis.
